Rock On Constantine! \m/ Posted by Hello

CONSTANTINE MAROULIS -------> you didn't deserve to go. You deserve to be up there with Bo and all the other genuinely good contestants. But no. Well, as they say, life isn't fair, and there is much injustice in the world. You know you're good. No, great. Posted by Hello

Great Great Great KATANGAHAN in American Idol

Ok, I know not all people agrees with me that Constantine should stay. There are a lot out there who thinks he stinks and that he sounds just like some drunk trying to sing. Well, we've all got our differences, including our tastes. So this post of mine is just my opinion. I'm not asking anybody to agree with me, but if someone does agree with me, please, give me a shout out and we'll sulk together!

Tonight, well, actually this afternoon, I watched the results show of AI. Wednesday night, not all of them did great. The best performance was Bo's. (and I'm not saying that because I love him, all the others just simply sucked. Well, only Scott's sucked BIG TIME and the others' performances just had something missing in them.)

I was thrilled to hear Simon Cowell tell Scott, "If I were you, I'd pack my suitcase tonight." or something like that. I thought, YES! At long last, he'll be leaving. I mean, he should be the next who left after Mikhaila! Or even before her and the one after that! To see Nadia, one of my bets to win this season, leave with Scott sitting there smugly on the spot which isn't rightfully his, just tears me apart. I thought, "Next week, he will surely leave."

So the next week came, he did another lame performance. No feeling at all, no showmanship at all. I don't say he can't sing, because he can. But compared to all the other contestants left, he's by far the least talented in the vocals department and especially in the showmanship department. He can sing nicely, but watching him, it all becomes dragging and boring because he hasn't any expression. Sometimes I feel like he has a hard time breathing while singing. Sometimes I think I hear wheezing... Is it because of his fats? Maybe. I'm fat too. i can relate. It's hard. but he's like, twice or almost thrice my size. Never mind about the looks, let's focus more on the "Idol" material. For me, the winner should be talented, can give a very good and enjoyable performance, and is humble enough not to brag. Because I mean, if you're really talented, then of course everyone will see it, then you wouldn't have to brag, right? But when Scott said in one episode that he's the real rocker in the competition, man, that just hit a nerve. I loathed him ever since. I don't even know why he got into the top 12! I'd rather have Travis Tucker the Usher-like guy.

And so the next elimination came and Anwar went. I was totally SHOCKED. Anwar?! He's the best there is! He might have needed a little more improvement on the showmanship department, but his vocals were awesome. He's got the best voice and everybody I know here agrees with me. But he left. I don't know what Scott has that Americans like. I'm not generalizing, just talking about the ones who are deaf enough and blind enough to vote for him.

This week, I was certain He-Who-Must-Be-Cut was gonna be gone for good. But NO. Who's fault? Not his fault. I mean, can contestants vote for themselves? I hope they aren't that thick. Constantine Maroulis. He had to leave. The talented man was forced to leave because people are stupid enough to vote for Scott. Constantine, although not that great in vocals, was the best performer of all. he has confidence and abviously, charisma. Charisma which only Mario Vasques shared with him. He (Cons) was comfy on the stage. He belonged there. He made a bad song choice, yes, but compared to Scott's frequent shitty performance, then, that even doesn't count as a mistake. Constantine was one of the best, but he had to go. Why didn't anybody vote for him???!!! Cons's fans, WHY?!?!?!?! If only I could vote. If only. Pero mahirap kumuha ng visa papuntang US kaya di ko kaya makapunta doon agad, baka abutin pa ako ng AI6!

Anyway, I'm hating myself for dissing other people when I myself am the least perfect person in the world. But I can't help it! It's just too much stupidity. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. Grr. I hope Scott leaves next week. He doesn't deserve to be there. Pumiyok nanga eh, kabingihan ba??? Kung taba lang naman ang kailangan para manalo jan, eh sasali na ako!

At least Bo is still there... if that lame excuse for a human being manages to stay after Bo goes, then, the AI is a complete rubbish and I won't watch it anymore. Posted by Hello

Habemus Papam!!!

As of 2 am this morning, about 8 pm Rome time, a new pope was elected. The 265th pope, the successor of the beloved, late Pope John Paul II, hails from Germany. He served as his advisor, and the Dean of the College of Cardinals. It's the first time that the cardinal reckoned by the media to be the next pope actually got elected. He is no other than the former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now known as his chosen name, Pope Benedict XVI.

Ok, I can't give any more background of the new leader of all Catholics all over the world. I first saw him during the late Pope's funeral, as shown on TV, he looked quite scary. And I heard someone comment on TV that she thinks that Pope Benedict XVI will rule "with iron arms". Now, tell me that doesn't scare you. He looks strict, some says he actually is. Will he be as charismatic as his predecessor? I sure hope so. My brother and I even had a bet. He says that Pope Benedict XVI will never step foot in the Philippines during his entire reign. (which hopefully will go for over 5 years) I say he will. Whoever wins... Will treat the other one to a big 18" Yellow Cab pizza! Yahoo! Hope I win! ;)

I wasn't really tuned in CNN the whole time. My brother just scurried out of his room and began screaming, "My bagong pope na! My bagong pope na! CNN! CNN!" He told me that earlier, there was a false alarm. The chimney of the Sistine Chapel emitted white smoke and caused everybody to go into a frenzy, but then it turned black. Wow, I wish I were there. That would've been so much fun. The adrenaline rush and all... Standing there for hours even days waiting for the new pope beats out lying in bed for days, weeks even, and doing nothing. The boredom is killing me. I can't wait 'till we go to Chine. And don't worry, I promise to bring back pictures of ground level toilets. Actually, they're just pits dug out so you could answer the call of nature there. Eww.

Don't forget, this Sunday is Pope Benedict XVI's inauguration!
